FAQ

  • Can you preserve a replica of my bouquet?

Yes. Contact us by email contact@sweetdaisyandco.com and we can put you touch with a local florist to replicate your bouquet.

  • How do I care for my resin pieces?

Resin will continue to cure over time and become harder, but it is important to use a lint free cloth to clean your piece and do not scrub it with anything abrasive. We recommend that you do not display it in direct sunlight as the color will change.

  • Will my piece change over time?

We use high quality UV and heat resistant epoxy to prolong the clarity of your piece. Over time all epoxy has the possibility of developing an amber glow. The best way to prevent this is to display it where it does not receive direct sunlight.

  • How far in advance should I book?

We recommend reserving your date as soon as you can to ensure availability. If your wedding date is close or your flowers are from a recent event, we would love for you to still reach out to us. We always want to help preserve your special moments if possible.

  • Do you offer payment plans?

Yes. We realize events are expensive, and we want to be as flexible as possible to help preserve your memories. Let us know in the book now form if you are interested in a payment plan.

  • Do you offer gift cards?

Yes. Gift cards are great to give to families that have lost loved ones. They also make great gifts for the wedding couple. Brides, you can put a link to our gift card on your bridal registry.

  • What is your turnaround time?

Our current turnaround to handcraft your keepsakes is 8-10 weeks.

  • Do all preserved flowers look exactly the same as my fresh flowers?

We use different techniques to ensure your flowers will look vibrant and hold their shape. Unfortunately, some flowers will dry a different color. Typically, red flowers will dry dark and white flowers will dry more ivory or yellow. Thin flowers like lilies and orchids dry thin and can form translucent spots when the resin hits them. To reduce translucent spots, we suggest avoiding handling/throwing your flowers a lot. We suggest designating a different bouquet for the bouquet toss and if these are some of your flowers, it’s a good idea to include flowers from an arrangement that have not been handled as much.

  • How do I care for my flowers until they make it to you?

Keep your stems in water while you are not using them and until you are ready to mail/drop them off. Do not put them in a home freezer as this creates too much moisture for them. Do keep them in a cool dark place and out of direct heat.

  • Can you make a keepsake out of my air-dried flowers that I’ve had in a drawer?

As long as your flowers are not molded or rotten, we would love to make you a keepsake to display.

  • How do I ship my flowers?

After your reservation is confirmed, we will send you detailed instructions on how to carefully mail your flowers to us. Local drop-offs will be discussed at this time as well. Out of town clients will need to use overnight shipping and are responsible for this cost.
